America beware of the mirrage sallers on amazon like this people, once they get your money, you do not have any business with them.
After I have tried some of the lessons, I start to realize that the lanuage itself is not easy to learn and speak fluently, especially the North American accents. There are a lot of materials covered in these 3 cds, so repeated practice is necessary to succeed. Perfectionists, bilinguists, and multilinguists are recommended. However, these are some typos in the booklet.I will still give it a 5-star rate.
I have all CDS of English Pronunciations, and it seems a lot of people think that American English Training by Ann Cook is the best. That's not really true, though, because in my opinion Ann Cook more focuses on Intonation rather than teaching how to say and find the differences among words correctly. I still do like an Improve Your American English Accent by Charlie Child is better.
Great stuff, helped me a lot. Just after 2-3 month. I used it everythere- home, car. The result was - no questions "what did you say." any more. I was so impressed that I bought one to my friend and reccomend to everyone who need. Thank you very much
It seems like she tried to invent the wheel again. The selected material is the same as any other accent modification course I have seen; it is not bad at all. However, the teaching method is not good. I like the course by Jane Wilburn. She seems to be an expert both in American Accent and teaching.
